Owned by Courtney, a lifelong local who started at BDC as a junior, our pharmacy is committed to providing high-quality service to customers while supporting the work-life balance of our employees.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team on-site at Biloela Discount Chemist. This role involves dispensing medications, providing accurate advice to patients, monitoring drug therapy, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and managing medication inventory. You will play a key role in supporting patient health and wellness while contributing to a positive community-focused pharmacy environment.
Working Hours:
Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
Closed Sundays and most public holidays
Responsibilities
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
Provide patient counselling and advice on medications and treatments
Monitor patient drug therapy for safety and effectiveness
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
Maintain medication inventory and manage stock levels
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care
Deliver excellent customer service and health solutions tailored to individual needs
Qualifications
Relevant pharmacy qualifications and active AHPRA registration
Strong knowledge of medication dispensing, pharmacy operations, and pharmaceutical software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management abilities
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry regulations
Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is a plus
