A rewarding part-time opportunity is available for a Retail Pharmacist at a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska. This ongoing contract role offers a flexible two-week rotating schedule, designed to accommodate your availability and support pharmacy operations efficiently.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
• Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)
• Pharmacy Manager open to schedule adjustments as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions thoroughly to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and health outcomes
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and guide pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to adjust schedule when required
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise is a plus but not mandatory
