Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska, as a part-time retail pharmacist in a contract role offering a flexible, two-week rotating schedule tailored to your availability and pharmacy needs. This position balances patient care with leadership responsibilities to maintain smooth pharmacy operations and exceptional customer service.
Schedule:
- Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (24 hours)
- Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (17 hours)
- Schedule flexibility available upon discussion with the Pharmacy Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescription accuracy and ensure patient safety
- Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
- Oversee pharmacy workflow, supporting pharmacy technicians effectively
- Maintain compliance with Nebraska state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to adjust to schedule changes as needed
- Experience with McKesson Enterprise is a plus but not required
