Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a reputable grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska, as a Retail Pharmacist providing essential pharmaceutical services in a dynamic retail environment. This part-time, contract opportunity offers flexibility with a two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate your availability and the pharmacy’s operational needs.
Schedule:
- Week 1:
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Total: 24 hours
- Week 2:
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Total: 17 hours
Note: Schedule adjustments may be considered based on candidate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions and ensure precision in dispensing medications
- Provide thorough patient counseling to promote medication safety and adherence
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
- Recent retail pharmacy experience is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills essential
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes when needed
- Experience with McKesson Enterprise systems is a plus but not mandatory
