Salary

$66.49 – $68.28 per hour + super + annual leave loading

Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (6 months), with Part-Time options considered

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Pharmacist (Oncology) to join our Pharmacy Department and support the Department of Medical Oncology. You will contribute to managing and optimising the performance of the Cancer Services Pharmacy team while delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive pharmacy services to medical oncology patients

Support the management and efficiency of the Cancer Services Pharmacy team

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective medication use

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department

Assist with mentoring and development of junior pharmacy staff

Qualifications

Eligible for AHPRA registration to practice as a Pharmacist

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Hospital Pharmacist, preferably in medical oncology

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated leadership skills and capacity to manage a complex workload

Must meet pre-employment conditions including criminal history check, WWCC, work rights, and required immunisations
