Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time retail pharmacist position is available at a grocery store pharmacy in the Omaha, Nebraska area. This contract role offers a flexible, rotating two-week schedule designed to accommodate both the pharmacy’s operational needs and the candidate’s availability.

Schedule Overview:

• Week 1: Sunday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM) — Total 24 hours
• Week 2: Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Total 17 hours
• Pharmacy management is open to schedule adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and safety
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and assist pharmacy technicians as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to adapt schedule as pharmacy needs arise
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise is preferred but not required
