About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Delivery Manager – Biological Material to support strategic sourcing and procurement delivery within a global healthcare environment. This role focuses on managing procurement activities across Biological Materials and related categories, driving supplier performance, and enabling efficient, compliant, and cost-effective sourcing solutions.

You will play a critical role in translating business requirements into procurement strategies, enhancing supplier partnerships, and improving procurement operations through automation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Category & Sourcing Expertise

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Biological Materials procurement
  • Conduct market intelligence, supplier analysis, and internal spend analysis
  • Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing plans
  • Lead supplier negotiations to achieve cost optimization and value delivery

Procurement Delivery & Execution

  • Execute end-to-end sourcing lifecycle: RFx, evaluation, negotiation, contracting
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and global regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and service delivery

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, procurement, and business units
  • Translate business needs into sourcing strategies and procurement solutions
  • Support customer demand and enhance procurement experience

Content & Automation

  • Develop procurement content and catalog strategies
  • Drive automation and digital procurement initiatives
  • Improve buying channels and user adoption

Project & Process Improvement

  • Lead procurement-related projects and initiatives
  • Contribute to productivity improvements and operational excellence
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Diagnostics, or Life Sciences industry
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Supply Chain Certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP)
  • Experience in Biological Materials, Clinical Trial Supplies, Biobanking, or Laboratory Services
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled procurement tools and digital platforms
