Established, thriving private practice of four board-certified Infectious Disease physicians based in Chicago, IL is seeking a board eligible (BE) or board-certified (BC) Infectious Disease physician to join Infectious Disease Consultants, Ltd.

Our group is based on the North side of Chicago. We are currently on staff at three hospitals including Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Swedish Hospital, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Our practice is 100% clinical infectious disease and we have an affiliation with the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine with an optional opportunity for clinical faculty appointment. We also have teaching affiliations with Northwestern Lake Forest and Swedish Hospitals.

Job responsibilities include inpatient consultations and clinical rounds, outpatient clinic, HIV care, management of outpatient parenteral IV antibiotic therapy (OPAT), opportunities for participation in the Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infection Prevention programs at Lake Forest and Swedish Hospitals, collaborative patient care with two Infectious Disease pharmacists as well as the microbiology and molecular biology labs at Swedish and Lake Forest Hospitals, and resident teaching at Swedish and Lake Forest Hospitals.
