Job Description
CEDA is currently seeking a Class 1 or Class 3 Driver/Operator for Chemical Cleaning based out of our Red Deer, AB location.

Opportunity for out of town work: 15% of the time you get to visit our other regions  across Canada! Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain chemical cleaning equipment and other specialty tools
Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
Ensure safety for all team members and property
Provide quality services to our clients
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done
Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Read work orders and designate proper hoses, chemicals and other equipment required job. If unsure, seek advice of supervisor
Ensure equipment is properly decontaminated at end of job
Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is required
1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment required
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
CSTS-2020, H2 S Alive, First Aid w/ CPR & AED, Fall Protection certifications are required
Experience in the following Industrial Chemical Cleaning Projects is an asset:
Exchanger Cleaning – 3 Stage Washes, Acid Washes, etc.
Boiler Cleaning –Various Chemical Washes with Passivation and Preservation.
Vapor Phase – Various scopes
Tank Cleaning – Circulation, separation, and degassing.
Air Blows – Decompression, Pulse, and Continuous Air Blows.  N2 Purging.
Familiarity with large bore pumping systems (skid pumps and chemical trucks).
Experience working with the following industrial chemistries is an asset:
Hydrochloric, Sulphamic, Formic and Nitric Acid
Caustic, Ammonium Biflouride, Soda Ash
Various degreasers and degassing chemistries Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions
You have the ability to work well in a team, share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely Qualifications Additional Information
