ANCHOR AQUATICS, Inc. is a Swimming Pool Management Company providing exceptional pool service and management to Anne Arundel and surrounding counties for 57 years! We are seeking to add a full-time, year-round, pool service technicians to join our established team!

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pool Technician to join our team in Edgewater. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing swimming pools to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Your work will support our mission to provide top-tier aquatic services to our clients. While we would prefer an experienced candidate, we WILL train the right motivated candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

· Maintain a Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.· Must possess a clean background record

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year round and lift/move equipment as needed. (50 lbs plus)

· Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and customer-focused communication skills.

Qualifications

· Fundamental mechanical knowledge related to pool systems

· Familiarity with pool maintenance and cleaning procedures

· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools

· Focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction

· Prior experience in pool service, maintenance, or a related mechanical/field service trade a plus but not required

Training and growth

· Willing to train the right candidate with some related experience (landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, handyman, etc.) who is eager to learn.

· Ongoing training on water chemistry, modern pool equipment, and safety procedures.

Schedule and compensation

· Full-time position with a regular daytime schedule; occasional seasonal flexibility may be required.

· Competitive pay based on experience, year end performance-based bonus and increases.

· Company vehicle and tools provided for daily routes.

Skills

· Fulfill routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections

· Fix mechanical issues and perform equipment repairs using hand tools and power tools

· Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities

· File detailed reports on service activities and repairs

· Foster positive relationships with clients by providing professional service

· Follow company procedures to ensure high-quality standards

· Function as part of a team dedicated to aquatic excellence

· Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance on residential accounts.

· Inspect and service equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and salt systems.

· Diagnose basic water chemistry and equipment issues and recommend solutions.
